Bible Passage: Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. – Ephesians 3:20 (NLT)

Truth to Remember:

God is able to accomplish immeasurably more than could ever be asked, imagined, or understood through His power at work within His people. What seems impossible to human understanding is never beyond His ability or His plan.

Reflection:

This verse reminds me that God’s power at work within me is limitless. There are times when I cannot see how things will work out, when situations seem impossible, or when I worry about making the right decisions for those I love. But this verse reminds me that God is able to do far beyond what I can foresee or plan. Even when I cannot see a way forward, He is still working.

As a parent, I often feel the weight of making decisions for my children and guiding them through important choices. I want them to pursue the gifts and desires God placed within them while also preparing wisely for the future. At times, that uncertainty can feel heavy. Yet I am reminded that even paths that seem unclear to me may still be part of God’s plan. I do not need to measure their future only by what I can see or understand. God is able to work in ways beyond my expectations, both in their lives and in mine.

This verse also reminds me that I do not have to carry the burden of figuring everything out on my own. God sees the full picture when I can only see a small part. The more I surrender my fears, doubts, and need for control to Him, the more I learn to trust His wisdom, timing, and power at work in my life.

Application: Walking in God’s Power

When situations feel beyond your control, pause before reacting in fear or trying to carry every burden alone. Bring your concerns honestly before God in prayer and acknowledge your need for His wisdom and strength. When worry or uncertainty begins to shape your thoughts, return to the truth of this verse. Remind yourself that God is able to do far more than you can currently see or understand. What feels impossible to you is never difficult for Him.

Instead of trying to solve everything at once, focus on the next step of obedience God has placed before you. Trust Him with the parts you cannot control and allow His truth to steady your heart so you can respond in faith rather than fear.

Reflection Question:

What area of your life do you need to stop controlling and fully place into God’s hands today?

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank You for Your limitless power at work within us. Help me to trust You more deeply, especially when I feel uncertain or anxious about the future. Remind me that You are able to do immeasurably more than I could ask or imagine. Teach me to surrender my fears, doubts, and limited understanding to You. Help me walk in obedience, trust Your timing, and rest in the confidence that You are always working for Your purposes and glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Claiming God’s Promise:

I choose to trust that God is working beyond what I can see or understand. I will trust His wisdom, timing, and greater plan.
